Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Camity app and camity.app, operated by Denis Kazakov. By using Camity, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the service. Contact us at contact@camity.app. Our Privacy Policy describes how we process information.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13, or the higher minimum age required in your country. If you are not old enough to enter a binding contract, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use and any purchases. You are responsible for complying with applicable laws.

If you use Camity on another person's behalf, you must have authority to act for them and the permissions necessary for the photos and processing involved. Where local law requires parental authorization for data-processing consent, that authorization is also necessary; permission to make a purchase is not a substitute for it.

2. The service

Camity uses AI to create photo edits and virtual photoshoots from images you select. Features, presets, availability, generation times, and usage limits may change. An internet connection is required for AI edits. We may refuse requests that violate safety rules or suspend access where reasonably necessary to prevent abuse or meet legal obligations.

No Camity account registration is currently required. AI editing sends your selected photo and the instructions needed for the edit through our backend to a Microsoft Azure-hosted image service or Google Gemini. The selected provider may vary. Generated responses may be temporarily cached to support safe retries, while your in-app gallery is stored locally. Our Privacy Policy explains processing, service identifiers, retention, and your choices.

3. Your photos and generated images

You retain any rights you have in photos you upload. You grant Camity a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to reproduce, transmit to processing providers, and modify those photos and related instructions only as needed to deliver your requested edit and provide necessary service security and support, as described in our Privacy Policy. This is not a license to use your photos in our advertising, sell them, or train our own AI models.

You may withdraw permission for future processing by stopping uploads and contacting us. Withdrawal does not undo an edit or transmission already completed, and may not immediately stop a request already in progress. Temporary response caches, provider retention, and records required for security or legal obligations follow the limits explained in our Privacy Policy. Any further support-related processing of photos must have the necessary authorization.

You must have the rights and permissions necessary to upload a photo, including appropriate permission from people shown in it for AI processing, not just for taking or possessing the photo. A parent or legal guardian must give any consent legally required for a minor shown in an image. Do not submit confidential information or images you are not entitled to use.

As between you and Camity, we do not claim ownership of your generated images or impose an additional ownership claim on their use. You remain responsible for how you use and share them. Any rights you have are subject to applicable law, third-party rights, and relevant AI provider and app-store terms. AI output may not be unique or eligible for copyright protection, and we do not guarantee that an output is free of third-party rights or cleared for commercial use.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Camity for unlawful, exploitative, deceptive, or abusive purposes. In particular, do not create sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate images, impersonation intended to deceive or harm, harassment, or content that infringes privacy or intellectual property rights. Do not bypass safety controls, tamper with credit or payment systems, reverse engineer except where legally permitted, or disrupt the service.

5. AI limitations

AI results may be inaccurate, distorted, unexpected, or unsuitable for your intended purpose. Camity is a creative tool, not a source of factual evidence or a guarantee of an authentic photograph. Review images before using or sharing them and identify AI-generated content where the law or a platform requires it. We cannot guarantee a particular likeness, result, or commercial clearance.

6. Purchases, subscriptions, and credits

Some features may require a purchase, subscription, or credits. The store purchase screen shows the price, billing period, included benefits, and any trial conditions before you confirm. Applicable taxes and store terms may apply. Credits and usage limits have the conditions displayed with the offer; they have no cash value and are not transferable unless expressly stated.

Auto-renewable subscriptions renew unless you cancel through your Apple App Store or Google Play account before the store's renewal deadline. Where a trial is offered, it may convert to a paid subscription at the displayed price unless canceled in time. Deleting Camity does not cancel a subscription. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in the relevant store's subscription settings.

Use the app's restore-purchases option when available and the same store account used for purchase. Apple or Google handles store billing and refund requests under its policies, subject to any mandatory consumer rights. A subscription on one platform does not automatically provide access on another unless explicitly offered. For missing credits or failed edits, contact support.

7. Availability and local files

We aim to keep Camity working, but interruptions, provider outages, and maintenance may occur. Your in-app gallery is stored on your device. Save important images separately; uninstalling the app or losing the device may remove local creations. We do not promise cloud backup or permanent availability of presets.

8. Our intellectual property

The Camity name, app, website, and original interface assets belong to us or our licensors. You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive permission to use the app in accordance with these terms and the relevant store license. This does not transfer ownership of the app or its assets.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or other protected claims. Your mandatory consumer rights, statutory warranties, and remedies remain unaffected.

10. Ending use and changes

You may stop using Camity at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, with notice where appropriate and legally required. Existing payment and consumer obligations remain applicable. We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated where required and will not remove rights already granted by mandatory law.

11. Store terms and disputes

Apple and Google are not the operators of Camity. Their store terms and applicable license terms also govern downloads and purchases. For the iOS app, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies where no custom EULA is specified.

Please contact us first to try to resolve a concern. Applicable law determines your rights and the competent courts; nothing here deprives you of mandatory protections or access to the courts available to consumers in their country of residence.
